About The Position

Warehouse Associates at Codale Electric accurately and efficiently prepare, package, ship, and receive orders to ensure timely customer delivery. The role includes maintaining organized work areas, inspecting items for quality, and coordinating with other departments to support smooth warehouse operations. The position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and works Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in using receiving software and systems.
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software.
Forklift certification; advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, and prepare shipments for customer orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Process shipping labels and documents, and prepare products in staging areas for transportation or pickup.
Inspect incoming goods for defects, damage, or discrepancies and report issues to the supervisor or purchasing department.
Update inventory systems with received items and ensure items are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.
Complete receiving logs, file paperwork, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Collaborate with and assist receiving, shipping, inventory, and quality control operations.
Organize and maintain the receiving area, keeping it clean and free from hazards.
Process returned or defective goods and coordinate with vendors or suppliers for replacements or credits.
