About The Position

The Role Our Warehouse Operations team is one of the most vital departments in the company. We have a dedicated team of receivers who receive up to 200 loads per week. Our receiving crew work together to unload trailers, break down pallets, make sure items are on receiving paperwork match what's on the pallet. They then insure all items are slotted in the proper location and handle inventory control.

Requirements

6 months to 1 year of prior warehouse work experience preferred
Must have basic math comprehension skills.
Must be safety minded.
Must be able to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed.
Ability to work on your own with a detailed list of tasks to accomplish during shift.
Good communication skills

Responsibilities

Pick daily customer orders according to pick ticket and Vocollect Headset.
Orders must be picked within an acceptable guideline for errors.
Place orders on pallets with special consideration given to maximizing product care, taking into account wet vs. dry goods and proper stacking to ensure safe transport and delivery to customer.
Stage completed pallets in loading area.
Load trucks as determined by delivery schedule.
Pick short sheets as assigned.
Complete necessary paperwork by recording amounts of items picked.
Properly palletize and wrap orders for shipping.
Maintain warehouse and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager, supervisor, or key personnel if they witness any compromise to food safety or food quality
