About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for preparing orders for delivery or pickup by picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping products. This role also involves receiving incoming products, unloading, labeling, and properly storing warehouse inventory. Maintaining accurate inventory records, performing regular inventory checks, and ensuring a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment are key aspects of this position. The associate will follow company quality standards, safety procedures, and warehouse policies, while working effectively with team members and maintaining a positive attitude. Additionally, the role requires operating warehouse vehicles and equipment safely, using basic computer programs and warehouse software, and assisting with basic warehouse and equipment maintenance. Safely unloading shipping containers and organizing received products are also part of the duties. This is a full-time position with varying temperatures, noise, and dust typical of a warehouse environment.

Requirements

Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb as needed in a warehouse environment.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products and materials throughout the workday.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and handle heavier items with assistance or proper equipment.
Ability to safely unload containers and move products using appropriate warehouse equipment.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise, dust, and other normal warehouse conditions.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and vehicles after receiving appropriate training.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, or other required equipment.

Responsibilities

Prepare orders for delivery or pickup by picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping products.
Receive incoming products, unload, label, and properly store warehouse inventory.
Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required inventory logs.
Perform regular inventory checks and report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse while making efficient use of available space.
Follow company quality standards, safety procedures, and warehouse policies.
Work effectively with team members, take responsibility for assigned tasks, and maintain a positive, can-do attitude.
Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment safely and perform basic preventive maintenance as needed.
Use basic computer programs and warehouse software for receiving, inventory, and recordkeeping.
Assist with basic warehouse and equipment maintenance when needed.
Safely unload shipping containers and organize received products.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
