About The Position

The Nutritional Services Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring that food and supplies entering the Loma Linda System do not present a hazard to anyone coming in contact with them. This role involves accurately checking in orders from various vendors, putting supplies in proper storage locations with stock rotation, and filling stock orders for Nutritional Services and other departments. The associate will perform duties according to established policies and procedures and other tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • ServSafe Managers Certification required.
  • Valid Driver's License required at time of hire and must maintain a clean driving record.
  • Ability to effectively drive van or truck for transport.
  • Able to write legibly.
  • Speak in English with professional quality.
  • Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position.
  • Ability to operate equipment and coordinate body movements to keep pace with the work.
  • Ability to communicate in English by phone, etc., with customers/patients/staff.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral/writing skills and excellent listening skills.
  • Working as a team player to achieve LLUMC and departmental goals.
  • Ability to have others cooperate or follow a specific course of action.
  • Relate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.
  • Be assertive and consistent in following and/or enforcing policies.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience working with and managing food inventory preferred.
  • Minimum six months of experience using a forklift, drive picker and/or power pallet jack preferred.
