About The Position

Cardinal Health's Warehouse Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. This includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management, and demand, supply, and manufacturing planning. Warehouse Operations performs and controls manual or automated tasks for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products, encompassing functions like receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, and storage. The goal is to ensure the efficient flow of products from vendors to customers. The Assoc II, Warehouse Ops role assists with Inbound or Outbound activities as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. This position involves receiving products in the Inbound section and shipping products in the Outbound section.

Requirements

Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of experience, preferred
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Responsibilities

Unloads trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.
Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.
Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.
