About The Position

The Warehouse Associate supports the team and customers by accurately and safely receiving and pulling orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role includes preparing orders for delivery or pickup, assisting with truck loading, receiving and tracking inventory, communicating with coworkers and customers, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient facility. The associate also operates a forklift, maintains the required certification, and performs vehicle safety checks. This position is considered safety-sensitive.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
Prior forklift experience.
Ability to follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in distribution, general labor, or warehousing.

Responsibilities

Accurately pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup.
Assist with loading the delivery truck.
Receive shipments, log them into inventory, and maintain inventory through audits.
Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks, and report discrepancies to a supervisor.
Help keep the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently.
Perform other duties as assigned.
