About The Position

As a Warehouse Associate at Raymour & Flanigan, you play an important role in the lifecycle of customers’ purchases, helping maintain the warehouse and prepare and move furniture. The work includes supporting the customer experience from the parking lot through warehouse operations, loading and unloading trailers, placing sofas in storage bins, and preparing dining tables for assembly. The role requires a commitment to safety and routinely handling heavy furniture, including while working at heights on warehouse equipment. The advertised pay is $19 per hour. Raymour & Flanigan supports a drug- and smoke-free work environment. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Commitment to safety practices, safety awareness, and maintaining a neat and safe work environment.
Ability to become certified on material handling equipment, including order pickers and electric pallet jacks.
Ability to routinely lift, lower, push, and pull furniture weighing up to and in excess of 200 pounds.
Ability to safely lift furniture while elevated on warehouse equipment at heights of 30–40 feet above ground.
Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Experience operating an order picker, electric pallet jack, or inventory scan gun.

Responsibilities

Follow Raymour & Flanigan safety practices, promote safety awareness, and maintain a neat and safe work environment.
Load and unload trailers.
Move and bin sofas and prepare dining tables for assembly.
Routinely lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes, including pieces weighing over 200 pounds.
Safely lift furniture while elevated on warehouse equipment at heights of 30–40 feet above ground.
