This is a backfill for an existing vacancy within the team. Gerrie Electric is one of the largest independent electrical distributors, with 24 key Ontario locations and over 400 employees. Requirements

• Interested in pursuing a career in the electrical industry.
• Good communication skills and like the idea of working as part of a team.
• Cable cutting experience.
• Ability to work in a face paced environment.
• Must be computer literate.

Nice To Haves

• Material handling experience is an asset.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as the face of Gerrie Electric, ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, shipped and received.
• Grow and maintain relationships with customers.
• Connect with customers to address questions and resolve issues through different channels including face-to-face, by email and over the phone.
• Continuous learning of electrical, lighting and automation products and share your knowledge with customers.
• In-store merchandising of day-to-day stock, as well as new and promotional products.
• Picking, packing, shipping and receiving of Gerrie product.
• Other duties as assigned.
