About The Position

The Furniture Fair Distribution Center in Fairfield is looking for a motivated individual to step into the role of Warehouse Associate. This role involves preparing outgoing merchandise for delivery, inspecting for damage, and ensuring items are ready for loading onto delivery trucks. The associate will also operate trash compactors and recycling machines, and must be able to safely lift 50 pounds while loading/unloading furniture carts and other devices.

Requirements

Must be able to assist with lifting up to 250 lbs.
Must be dependable and possess a Team Player attitude.
Training will be provided.

Prep the outgoing merchandise for delivery and properly inspect for damage and ensure items are completely ready to be loaded on a delivery truck.
Operate the trash compactor and recycling machines as requested.
Ability to safely lift 50 pounds while loading/unloading furniture carts, and other devices.
