About The Position

National Star Services, a leading facility management company with over 28 years of industry experience, is seeking reliable, hardworking Warehouse Helpers to support our client’s facility located in Des Plaines, IL 60018. This role involves coordinating and tracking incoming shipments, verifying received materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting daily operations to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. The pay rate is $17.50/hour for regular hours and $26.25/hour for overtime. The work schedule is Monday through Sunday, with two days off during the week, and requires weekend availability. The shift is from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
• Steel toe shoes/boots required for safety
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift heavy as required by the role
• Availability to start working ASAP

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track incoming shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing.
• Verify received materials against invoices, delivery orders, and company requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for inventory, equipment, and supply distribution.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to ensure adequate stock availability.
• Communicate updates regarding material availability, delivery changes, shortages, or other operational issues.
• Ensure requested items and approved substitutions are fulfilled promptly.
• Follow company safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times.
• Support daily operations to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
