About The Position

Completes shipments by processing and loading orders. Supports all day-to-day Warehouse duties such as packaging, inventory, shipping, picking, and receiving. Completes shipments by processing and loading orders. Responsible for moving, stocking, receiving, and packing outbound warehouse merchandise. Assists in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts. Operates warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks. Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations. Completes daily warehouse tasks including shipping, receiving, packaging, pulling, inventory, and warehouse organizational tasks. Unloads shipments from suppliers, verifying order accuracy. Able to troubleshoot and be flexible to jump between tasks based on order demands. Prepares the product for manufacturing and distribution. Inspects product for defects and verifies correct counts. Responsible for in-process checks and inventory adjustments. Loads and receives merchandise, building orders and merchandise organization. Interprets production schedule and ensures proper materials are in inventory and ready for use. Ensures and maintains appropriate packaging inventory for products. The individual must be able to work independently and part of a team, following instructions and completing tasks assigned by Supervisor/Lead Operator. Occasional use Warehouse management or ERP systems. Assists other employees in accomplishing company goals. Participates in and completes company-required training programs. Meets all quality standards in performing assigned tasks. Participates in Environmental, Health, Safety and OSHA initiatives as set forth by the company. Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by manager. Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3+ years of warehousing experience
  • Must be able to drive forklift and organize materials.
  • Typically requires a high school diploma and 0 to 2 years of experience.
  • Must be over 21 years of age.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer.
  • Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
  • Must be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
  • Must be able to complete repeated twisting, grasping, reaching, turning, stooping, and lifting activities throughout shift and for prolonged periods of time.
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP system) keyboarding skills preferred.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of subject matter.
  • Must be able to work in a high pace environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed stand up and sit-down forklift experience is a plus.
