About The Position

Empire Auto Parts is seeking a dependable, team-oriented Warehouse Associate with a can-do attitude to join their team. As a key link between the company and its customer base of collision repair shops, the Warehouse Associate will be a team player willing to go the extra mile. The role involves processing, packing, and shipping orders, organizing stock, inspecting products, examining deliveries, organizing warehouse space, receiving and unloading inventory, and verifying customer invoices. The position requires adherence to safety and hygiene regulations and maintaining a clean warehouse. Duties will be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have at least 1 year of cherry picker experience
• Ability to engage in frequent, repeated, rapid, and/or strenuous physical activity for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and knowledge of how to lift and carry objects safely, cautiously, and effectively
• Ability to safely operate equipment, observe safety procedures, and meet safety requirements
• Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system

• Forklift training and certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Processing, packing, and shipping orders accurately
• Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory
• Inspecting products for defects and damages
• Examining ingoing and outgoing deliveries
• Organizing warehouse space
• Receiving, unloading, and placing incoming inventory items appropriately
• Checking, verifying, and filling customer invoices
• Abiding by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Keeping warehouse clean and organized daily
• Performing duties as assigned by supervisor
• Staging, loading, unloading parts, and stocking, locating, and maintaining warehouse inventory
• Pulling orders for delivery and shipment
