Warehouse Associate
About The Position
We are currently hiring a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Receiving & Shipping Associate for a small warehouse environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, works well as part of a team, and understands that warehouse upkeep and cleanliness are a major part of the job. When receiving is slow, employees will be expected to assist with maintaining the warehouse and keeping work areas clean and organized. Duties include operating an automated warehouse sweeper to remove dust and debris, breaking down and disposing of cardboard, wiping down shelves, workstations, and warehouse areas, taking out trash and maintaining clean workspaces, and general housekeeping and warehouse cleanup duties.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, receiving, or shipping experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move products throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable performing both warehouse labor and cleaning duties
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Unload incoming trucks and shipments
- Receive and verify incoming products against packing slips and purchase orders
- Inspect products for damage, expiration dates, and accuracy
- Put away inventory into designated warehouse locations
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory control
- Help transition from paper processes to an electronic barcode/RF scanner system
- Assist the shipping department during busy periods
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned

- Breaking down and disposing of cardboard
- Wiping down shelves, workstations, and warehouse areas
- Taking out trash and maintaining clean workspaces
