About The Position

The Warehouse Associate (Flex) position at Cardinal Health involves assisting with Inbound or Outbound activities to meet quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. This role is responsible for receiving products in the Inbound section and shipping products in the Outbound section. The position offers a flexible schedule of approximately 25 hours per week, primarily on the night shift (3rd Shift). Sunday is a set schedule from 6:00 pm to 2:30 am, with two flexible workdays on Monday through Thursday from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am. Requirements

Ability to bend, reach, lift and stand for entire shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
Adheres to all quality guidelines
Works under moderate degree of supervision
Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Unloads trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.
Use Warehouse Management System to check in products.
If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.
Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.
