The Warehouse Associate role involves receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping concise inventory records, and accurately filling customer orders. This role is crucial for the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse and requires dynamic, career-minded individuals dedicated to the job.

Requirements

Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach.
Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance.
May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Responsibilities

Receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments.
Assessing stock for damages.
Keeping a concise record of inventory.
Accurately filling customer orders.
Picking of parts to fulfill orders.

Scan items into the warehouse management system.
Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
Organizing the warehouse space.
Preparing orders for shipment.
Picking orders for shipment.
Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
Operating stock management tools: for example, powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks.
Counting stock and keeping inventory records.
Routine cleaning duties.
Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized.
Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations.
