About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for preparing and processing outbound shipments while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role includes verifying orders, packaging and labeling shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations in accordance with established procedures and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with inventory or warehouse management systems
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching
  • Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods (8+ hours)
  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to industrial conditions such as moving machinery, dust, odors, and varying temperatures
  • Must be able to safely navigate stairs and ladders and operate within a production environment
  • Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, and conveyors
  • Must complete all required safety training within designated timeframes

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, process, and package customer orders in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Complete shipment consolidations based on shipping and delivery schedules
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation per SOPs
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using both electronic and manual systems
  • Support inventory control activities, including cycle counting and stock verification
  • Assist with receiving, storage, and order fulfillment as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards and internal quality requirements
  • Contribute to a safe work environment by following safety guidelines, participating in training, and adhering to procedures
  • Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned
