About The Position

Ryder is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role supports warehouse operations in a safety-focused supply chain environment using state-of-the-art equipment. The position pays $20.50 per hour, with weekly pay, and includes paid on-the-job training and provided safety gear. Warehouse Associates may perform a range of warehouse functions and are expected to meet the performance measurement guidelines of the contract.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid certified Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment and build professional relationships across organizational levels.
• Thoroughness and dependability.
• Punctuality and a good attendance record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions that may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within the performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load and unload trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork, such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for aspects of the automated packing system during the core production shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
