About The Position

The Warehouse Associate maintains company standards for housekeeping and contamination control while supporting accurate receiving, stocking, customer pickup, and outbound shipping operations. The role involves greeting customers professionally, verifying orders, obtaining signatures, identifying and pulling materials according to instructions and shipping information, organizing stock, checking incoming shipments, and preparing outgoing shipments. The position requires following safety practices, communicating effectively, working reliably and accurately, and responding to changing work priorities. Work is routinely performed during regular business hours, with rare exceptions, and has no supervisory responsibility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months or less of experience.
• Ability to comprehend written material and communicate effectively orally and in writing with employees and customers.
• Ability to perform basic problem solving using established examples or guidance.
• Ability to work within established parameters, with some discretion in decision-making and setting priorities.
• Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and workload.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience and certification.
• Warehouse operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company standards in housekeeping and contamination control.
• Greet customers promptly and professionally, verify order accuracy, and obtain appropriate customer signatures upon receipt.
• Pull and clearly identify materials according to applicable notes and instructions, including location assignments and shipping information.
• Count, sort, and place stock materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, or location.
• Receive, examine, unpack, and check shipments for accuracy; validate rejects, damaged items, and shortages, and notify appropriate parties.
• Prepare outbound shipments according to established company guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow safe work practices and consider workplace safety a priority.
• Communicate clearly, keep relevant people informed, and work constructively with team members.
• Check information and completed work for accuracy and completeness.
