Warehouse Associate
About The Position
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for unloading, picking, packing, shipping, and internal warehouse movement of both case quantities and less than case quantities of product. This position plays a key role in the accurate and efficient shipping of our products to our customers as well as ensuring inventory levels are properly maintained throughout the warehouse. Daily responsibilities may change depending on the shipping priorities and warehouse functions needed on the day. The ideal candidate would have strong attention to detail, be reliable, a quick learner and have the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position will work Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:45pm.
Requirements
- Ability to perform tasks under pressure and within a deadline driven environment
- Ability to perform detail-oriented work to insure proper items and quantities are picked to arrive at customers in good condition
- Ability to accurately follow directions and to quickly learn new procedures
- Basic math and reading skills
- Good oral communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and bring a positive attitude
- Reliable with a solid work ethic, taking pride in what they do
- Able and willing to perform physical work including extended periods of standing, walking, lifting, reaching and bending over
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
