Requirements

  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
  • Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach.
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance.
  • May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
  • May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments.
  • Assessing stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
  • Keeping a concise record of inventory and stock.
  • Accurately filling customer orders.
  • Picking of parts to fulfill orders.
  • Preparing orders for shipment.
  • Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
  • Operating stock management tools, such as powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks.
  • Counting stock and keeping inventory records.
  • Routine cleaning duties.
  • Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized.
  • Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
  • Maintain high productivity and quality standards in an active warehouse environment.
  • Lift, move, and transport assets/inventory.
  • Keep narrow aisles clean and follow safety protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and work smoothly with teammates and supervisors under pressure.
