About The Position

Heidelberg Distributing Company, a family-owned operation with a rich history since 1938, is seeking a Warehouse Associate. This role involves receiving and processing incoming product, picking and filling customer orders, loading trucks, and managing product stock. Requirements

• Must be able to safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and walkie power jacks
• Willing to work flexible shifts, as needed
• Detail-oriented
• Must have a positive, winning attitude and excellent attendance record
• Must be a fast-paced individual with a strong work ethic
• Be able to pass a drug screen, physical and background check
• Must be able to move or lift up to 165 lbs (pounds) on occasion and repetitively list 25+ lbs (pounds) throughout the shift.
• Spend work shift continually moving on your feet and on and off of equipment.
• Wear a headset throughout the entire work shift
• While performing the duties of this job, employee is required to stand; balance; walk; climb stairs, sit; use hands to feel and handle objects, tools, or controls, including standard office equipment such as computers, phones, fax machines; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; and have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing incoming product
• Picking and filling customer orders
• Loading trucks
• Managing and organizing product stock
• Pick product cases in a fast, accurate and efficient manner utilizing Voice Pick technology
• Load pallets on to trucks as needed
• Maintain clean and effective workplace
