About The Position

Midwest Kitchens is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate in Erie, Pennsylvania. The company is a premium food service cook plant that uses sous vide cooking to prepare products for commercial kitchens. This adaptable role supports plant operations across food preparation, packing, sanitation, and other areas. The position pays $20.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including heavy lifting, standing and walking throughout the shift, bending, and twisting.
• Ability to work on concrete, wood, or metal surfaces that may be wet or slippery.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to pass a pre-hire drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments.
• Work in freezers and coolers to store and prepare raw meat.
• Prepare raw meats.
• Cook products using sous vide methods.
• Pack finished products.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
