About The Position

The individuals selected for this position are responsible for order selecting and merchandising wholesale products daily. They ensure that we are expediting and stocking wholesale products for our wholesale customers. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The company provides a fun and positive environment, but employees will be exposed to outside weather conditions and moderate to loud noise levels in the warehouses.

Requirements

Must be over the age of 21.
Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos.
Ability to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of a calculator or abacus.
Responsible, reliable, and committed to providing excellent service.
Patience, friendliness, and an outgoing personality.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday.
Must be available 80% or more of all shifts each week.
Attendance and Timeliness is required.
Must be able to lift 50lbs & stand for up to 2 hours without a break.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with proper tools.
Must be able to use an industrial machine to move pallets up to 2400 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of warehouse experience.
High school diploma or a general education degree (GED).
Counting is a major plus.
Experience is the best education.

Knowing when to come in from the rain is a plus.

Responsibilities

Order selecting and merchandising wholesale products daily.
Expediting and stocking wholesale products for wholesale customers.
Identifying product by sku, size, varietal, and rack bin location.
Making notes on invoices for variances, changes, and out-of-stock products.
Maintaining control and integrity of pull cart.
Maintaining neat and orderly product rack areas.
Maintaining pull cart staging area for quick verification.
Packing wholesale order products neatly without damage.
Tagging wholesale customer orders according to quantity of shipment.
Maintaining security and proper usage of TABC stamps.
Working with and maintaining TABC stamp guns and machines.
Restocking supplies and utilizing equipment for replenishment of products.
Informing manager/lead of out-of-stocks or inventory variance.
Working with and maintaining computer equipment.
Assisting in preparation for and execution of inventory.
Practicing teamwork and cooperation with coworkers.
Continually improving related skills and knowledge.
Undertaking responsibilities with care and attention to detail.
Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Properly utilizing a dolly and/or pallet jack.
Pushing or pulling 50-100 pounds regularly.
Carrying out directives given by the Management Team.
Working in accordance with all safety regulations.
Efficiently carrying out all directives given by Management Team.
Working in accord with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA.
