About The Position

State Electric Supply Co. is seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Associate to join their team. This role is crucial for assisting in the delivery of excellence to customers by managing shipping and receiving, loading and unloading materials, checking in merchandise, and organizing items. The associate will also prepare parcels, cut wire, and potentially serve as a backup delivery driver. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a high-energy team in a dynamic and rewarding environment within a leading electrical distributor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to satisfy training requirements in order to safely operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year warehouse experience or related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting shipping and receiving materials or items.
• Loading and unloading materials or items.
• Checking in merchandise.
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code.
• Preparing parcels for mailing.
• Pulling and cutting wire to specified lengths as needed/assigned.
• Serve as a backup delivery driver as needed and assigned. (No CDL required)
• Acting as a back-up delivery driver as needed and assigned
• Assisting in other Warehouse task as needed and assigned.
