About The Position

Warehouse Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties, such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to use electronic devices such as barcode scanners for material pulling and material put away.
Basic computer skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Problem solver
Team Player
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to Detail
Adaptability
Dependability
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be a U.S. Person defined as: U.S. Citizen, Any individual granted U.S. permanent residence, granted status as a "protected person" under 8 U.S.C. 132b (a) (3); corporation/business/organization/group incorporated in the U.S under U.S law; or part of the U.S. government.
Ability to learn & perform multiple tasks in a fast paced team environment
Ability to work independently and safely

Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Fill customer orders as assigned by picking, scale counting, packing, or shipping material.
Generate appropriate labels for product identification and/or mark materials with identifying information.
Prepare parcels for shipment in accordance with Heilind and customer specifications to prevent damage, ensure preservation, and accurate identification.
Work in a manner that promotes efficient handling and minimizes waste.
Participate in Company sponsored training and process improvement activities.
Comply with all Company Policies as defined in the Company's Warehouse Orientation Packet.
Pursue continuous improvement through training and process improvement.
Comply with all applicable elements of the Company's Quality Management System.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Must have attention to detail.
