Puget Sound Pipe is a premier wholesale distributor of pipe, valves and fittings in the Pacific Northwest & Alaska. We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to work in the warehouse at our Seattle, WA location. Hired candidates will be working onsite at the branch location. Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalency
Pass pre-employment drug screen
Pass Background Check

Nice To Haves

Previous job experience working within a warehouse
Basic understanding of commercial and industrial pipe, valves and fittings
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Positive Attitude
Ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

Safely pull customer orders throughout the day while documenting each step
Ensure that a quality check is performed on all incoming and outgoing material
Inspect items for quality and quantity and for any evidence of damage
Use a forklift to transport material from its storage location to the staging area
Wrap, box and palletize material for stock or customer orders
Place destination information on packed material and appropriate paperwork
Properly document your actions on sales orders, purchase orders and transfers
Maintain a clean working area by organizing material on shelves and keeping floors swept
Occasional driving for deliveries to local customers
Work cooperatively with warehouse staff to ensure that delivery deadlines are met
