Warehouse Associate - Total Petroleum Services
About The Position
Total Petroleum Services, a company under Northwest Pump, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their growing team. This role involves traditional warehouse responsibilities with exposure to basic vehicle maintenance, cleaning, and management, as well as supporting general operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, an operations/inventory background, and proficiency in basic computer programs. This position is suitable for someone who enjoys problem-solving and has a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude. The company is prepared to train the right individual who is eager to learn and ready for a challenge.
Requirements
- 1–2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or a related logistics or maintenance field.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently and maintain clean, accurate records.
- Comfort working with tools, parts, and technical systems common to Warehouse environments.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a physically active, warehouse/shop environment.
- Positive, team-focused attitude and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning and inspection of company vehicles.
- Loading and unloading of materials.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Manage parts inventory for both the warehouse and vehicle fleet, including receiving, organizing, labeling, and tracking tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection and inventory records using internal software systems (inventory systems or software, spreadsheets, etc.).
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, including UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, and vendor deliveries.
- Ensure the warehouse and shop areas are organized, safe, and compliant with all internal protocols.
- Occasionally assist with deliveries or pickup of parts using company vehicles.
- Collaborate with operations and warehouse management to complete special projects and support field technician operations as needed.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized at all times.
