About The Position

Proof of the Pudding is seeking multiple Warehouse Associates to join their team at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, TX. This role is responsible for receiving, sorting, and organizing incoming orders, equipment, and product to support kitchen efficiency for events. The Warehouse Team collaborates with Chefs and the Operations Team to organize items, prepare for distribution, verify inventories, and distribute product for event days.

Requirements

Experience working in a warehouse is necessary.
Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
Ability to pass a background and DOT certification test.
Must be available for a variety of shift times (nights and weekends are needed).
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Renowned time management and organization skills.
The ability to work alone and as a team.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Nice To Haves

Experience in food & beverage or the hospitality industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs transfers of products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse.
Receives products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages, and ensuring proper storage.
Operates equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Assists with pulling and packing equipment for events, and unpacking and organizing returned equipment.
Loads and unloads trucks, transfers equipment between outlets, and makes deliveries or drives to events when needed.
Cleans and organizes the warehouse, china room, and dish room.
Assists warehouse leads with equipment & inventory control.
Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping.
Performs pre & post event set-up/break down responsibilities.
Ensures security of company assets.
Performs other related duties as required.
