About The Position

This role operates within a dynamic environment where we test and launch new services (examples include scaled composting programs and specialty recycling programs). In addition to core responsibilities, team members in this role are expected to approach operational updates with adaptability and a willingness to learn. These initiatives are a normal and important part of how we improve and expand our impact.

Requirements

• Desire a physically active environment: working on your feet and a willingness to work outside in all elements.
• Not squeamish: can be around food scraps, bugs, and the smell of decomposition.
• Takes direction well.
• Detail oriented.

• Strong communicator.
• English proficiency is required for the safe and effective execution of job duties.

Responsibilities

• Receive, empty, and sort through containers filled with food scraps.
• Clean all containers (soaping, washing, rinsing), readying them to be returned to our customers.
• Prepare finished compost (soil) for delivery to customers.
• Clean work vehicles.
• Maintain a tidy work environment.
• Approach operational updates with adaptability and a willingness to learn.
