About The Position

Warehouse associates manage incoming and outgoing products and orders at a distribution center. The role includes checking pallets against SKUs, maintaining accurate inventory records, following receiving, invoicing, and pickup procedures, and safely helping customers load orders. Associates maintain an organized and safe warehouse, inspect products and equipment, process stock orders and transfers, and provide professional customer service. Depending on the location, the position may include some duties shared with Customer Service or Showroom Sales Representative roles.

Requirements

Excellent phone, email, and computer skills.
Ability to lift 100 lbs.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to take the extra step.
Flexible work schedule.

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse experience.
Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
Manage inventory, conduct cycle counts, assist with corporate inventory counts, and report discrepancies to the branch manager.
Assist customers with loading and unloading vehicles and follow proper invoicing and pickup procedures.
Follow receiving procedures, including thorough product inspections.
Maintain the warehouse breakage list and report it to the branch manager weekly.
Inspect forklifts and other warehouse equipment daily and report issues to the warehouse lead or branch manager.
Communicate with customer service staff about order discrepancies or other issues.
Where applicable, maintain cleanliness, organization, signage, and stock in the Factory Outlet and slab yard.
Answer clients' questions about products or orders.
Pull stock orders and branch transfers and process them in a timely manner.
Follow warehouse safety procedures, attend safety meetings, and help conduct safety inspections.
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Multitask and prioritize work through effective time management.
Work cooperatively in a team environment and follow company policies, procedures, goals, and directives.
Perform other duties required for the position.
Where duties overlap with Customer Service or Showroom Sales Representative roles, learn product lines; enter orders; follow up on back-orders; invoice orders; follow pickup procedures; and follow protocols for pulling, packing, strapping, staging, unloading, shipping, and receiving.
