About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible, depending on the assigned role, for receiving shipments, restocking orders, tracking inventory, shipping customer orders, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Duties may include warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, shipping clerk tasks, or gatekeeping inventory movements. All roles include warehouse inventory control, safe operation of forklifts and other job-related equipment, compliance with safety requirements, and maintaining an orderly work area.

Responsibilities

Pull tools and fixtures for production and the tool room, and return them to the warehouse when no longer needed.
Assist with pulling part orders from the warehouse and staging them for shipment.
Pull packaging and components for production and coordinate packaging inventory levels.
Store finished goods in the warehouse and record inventory movements accurately.
Load trucks and complete required shipment paperwork.
Unload truck deliveries, warehouse the items, and complete documentation according to procedures.
Order trucks for shipments.
Run reports as needed to identify drop shipments.
Scan materials, components, work in process, and finished goods entering or leaving the warehouse.
Control inventory entering and leaving the warehouse by manning and controlling the gate.
Perform warehouse inventory control functions.
Safely operate forklifts and other equipment required for assigned tasks.
Follow safety requirements and maintain a neat and orderly work area.
