About The Position
U.S. Lumber, an SBP brand is currently looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, to join our Bellwood, PA facility. The majority of duties at this facility is protected from elements, under cover, or in enclosures. In this role you will be responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, transporting and otherwise handling products that come into and move out of the warehouse.
Requirements
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Be able to stand and work on your feet throughout shift as normal routine
- Be able to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, push, pull, move, and lift to 50lbs
Responsibilities
- Loading, unloading, sorting, staging, transporting and otherwise handling products that come into and move out of the warehouse.
- Safely operate forklift and other machinery
- Band, wrap, tape product
- Maintain work area and be organized
- Responding to public address system announcements, directions from supervisors and managers, warning alarms from other forklift drivers
- Walking and carrying merchandise
- Identify and read tickets, SKU’s, UPC labels and reports
- Follow all safety procedures
- Work in a team environment
- Bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, push, pull, move, and lift to 50lbs
