About The Position

The Warehouse Associate will fulfill and process orders, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of the Warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy in inventory management, and supporting the overall supply chain and VanTran Team.

Requirements

Relevant Warehouse experience within the past 5 years.
Proficient with inventory control systems.
Must be computer literate and able to easily learn ERP systems.
Experience in Manufacturing Industry.
Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at a time.
Must wear safety gear, such as goggles and gloves, when handling box cutters or similar tools.
Must be authorized to work lawfully in the US.
Warehouse: 2 years (Required)
Driver's License (Required)

Responsibilities

Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
Prepares orders by pulling materials and packing job kits.
Communicates to Supply Chain Management & entire VanTran Team regarding the accuracy and completeness of job kits.
Unloads merchandise from delivery trucks and checks to ensure that materials match delivery documents (Bill of Lading, Shipping Invoice, and/or Delivery Note) in accordance with VanTran procedure.
Verifies that received goods are intact and reports any defects.
Ensures all received goods are received in ERP system and put away immediately.
Ensures the highest level of 5S is applied to all Warehouse areas.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Performs inventory controls and maintains high quality standards for audits.
Assists Inventory Specialist in weekly cycle counts as needed.
