About The Position
Pacific Cheese, a family-owned and operated company for over 50 years, is seeking a Warehouse Associate for their 1st shift opening in central Hayward. This role is responsible for receiving, checking, storing, and filling orders, as well as preparing customer orders for shipment. The company offers a generous benefits package and a 401(k) with employer match.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Great attention to detail.
- Legible handwriting.
- Complete the powered industrial truck certification program within 4 weeks of hire and maintain it.
- Must pass a drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves.
- Rotate and replenish inventory.
- Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
- Record information regarding amounts of materials or items distributed.
- Operate dolly, pallet jack, pallet rider, and/or forklift while loading supplies and equipment.
