About The Position

Omni Fiber is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Port Clinton warehouse team. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of the warehouse, involving the handling, organization, and storage of products, as well as accurate and timely order fulfillment. The associate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This is a full-time, onsite position.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and minimum state required auto insurance policy.
Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Receive incoming shipments and inspect them for accuracy and quality.
Organize and maintain warehouse space for optimal efficiency.
Perform regular cycle counts and assist in conducting periodic inventory audits.
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, meeting specified deadlines.
Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.
Report and quarantine any damaged or defective items.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
Assist with active cabinet installations and other small projects at the warehouse when needed.
