About The Position

The Warehouse Associate receives and verifies food, beverage, and non-food shipments; documents discrepancies and damages; and ensures products are stored, dated, and rotated appropriately. The role also supports receiving research and dispute resolution, distribution to departments, inventory counts, and promotional gift distribution.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have attention to detail skills.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds or more.

Nice To Haves

Previous forklift and/or pallet jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a working knowledge of dry goods, paper products, chemical supplies, and food and beverage specifications.
Ensure shipments arrive in good, undamaged condition and document non-conformities, discrepancies, damages, shortages, and miss picks on vendor invoices and purchase orders.
Work with accounts payable team members to verify received orders.
Research and resolve receiving disputes.
Attend regularly scheduled departmental meetings to facilitate information flow throughout the property.
Electronically scan purchase orders and vendor invoices.
Verify food and beverage deliveries against corporate specifications.
Ensure received products meet quality standards and food safety/HACCP requirements.
Place products promptly into freezer, refrigeration, or dry storage as appropriate.
Ensure products are stored and dated properly and rotated using the FIFO method.
Document food safety issues and forward them to the Receiving Manager.
Inspect incoming non-food shipments for product and quantity accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders.
Record accurate information on the distribution log and deliver items to the appropriate departments.
Assist marketing with unboxing and distributing promotional gifts for guests.
Assist inventory control with accurately counting products stored in the bulk freezer.
Perform other duties as assigned.
