About The Position

American Tire Distributors (ATD) is seeking a Warehouse Associate for their Regional Distribution Center (RDC). This role involves picking and filling orders, loading and unloading products, and managing physical inventory within the distribution center. The associate will ensure facility organization, check incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy, and perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks. ATD is a leading tire distributor with a coast-to-coast network, serving approximately 80,000 customers across the U.S. and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and pick material to fill orders.
  • Load and unload product on delivery trailers/containers.
  • Maintain, handle, and move physical inventory within the RDC.
  • Keep facility organized by physical alignment and allowing sufficient space for overflow.
  • Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy.
  • Perform periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial/housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning the loading dock and area surrounding building.
  • Keep floors clear of debris and assist in daily shift closures.
  • Arrange RDC stock by product line and physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including handling and preparing paperwork as needed.
  • Physically move and lift products weighing up to 150 pounds.
  • Stage, count, and systematically put away inventory using powered industrial equipment.
  • Report overages and shortages to the Lead Person/Operations Supervisor.
  • Submit regular reports of damaged and defective products.
  • Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, while adhering to safety standards.
  • Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in quantity, size, and type.
  • Inform management of inventory and supply shortages and assist with periodic inventory counts.
