About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Associate is to ensure the accurate receipt and processing of customer orders while providing timely and efficient service. This role requires the ability to be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of effectively communicating across departments. Strong multitasking abilities, basic systems knowledge, and a focus on maintaining high customer satisfaction are essential to this role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Proficiency with order processing systems such as Radio Frequency Scanners (RF Scanners) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Skilled in operating and maintaining electric rider and rider pallet jack.
  • Knowledge and understanding of food safety regulations and OSHA standards.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain a pleasant and calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to speak clearly and communicate effectively using various communication mediums: e-mail, written correspondence, phones, etc.
  • Working knowledge of MS Suite; Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in order management, customer service, or related roles (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Receive and review customer orders via phone, email, or online platforms.
  • Accurately input orders into the system, ensuring all details are correct.
  • Verify inventory levels and notify customers of stock availability or delays.
  • Assist kitchen staff with movement of food including timely rotation, thawing, staging, and processing of food production materials.
  • Assist with physical inventory of products.
  • Work together with the allocations, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Provide customers with updates on order status, including shipment tracking details.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, transactions, and correspondence.
  • Generate order reports and provide insights to management as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards during order processing.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist management with additional tasks as necessary.
