About The Position

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate in Germantown! At Airgas, our trusted Warehouse Associates take ownership of moving material within a warehouse, while following and contributing to the facility work rules and while meeting or advancing the regular quality and safety standards. The normal duties may include the following: Efficient Material Handling: Supports the team’s quality and efficiency goals by loading, unloading, and palletizing safety products with care. Shipment Integrity: Ensures the quality and care of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders to provide excellent service. Safety & Workspace Care: Maintains a clean and organized work area to support a safe environment for everyone and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Equipment Operation: Operates powered industrial trucks as needed to assist in daily warehouse flow. Collaborative Support: Willingly supports the team with various tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
1+ year warehousing or similar experience
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to push and or pull up to 75 lbs.
Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours
Ability to read and comprehend customers' orders, bills of lading, etc.
Basic math skills
Knowledge or ability to learn computer software systems
