About The Position

Parts Authority LLC. is seeking Warehouse Associates for immediate openings on their 1st shift in Piscataway, New Jersey. Requirements

  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
  • Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach.
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance.
  • May be subject to environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
  • May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
  • Attention to detail.

  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors.
  • Must have open availability, be flexible, and able to work various shifts and overtime.
  • Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.

  • 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments.
  • Assessing stock for damages.
  • Keeping a concise record of inventory.
  • Accurately filling customer orders.
  • Picking of parts to fulfill orders.
  • Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
  • Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
  • Scanning items into the warehouse management system.
  • Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
  • Organizing the warehouse space.
  • Preparing orders for shipment.
  • Picking orders for shipment.
  • Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
  • Operating stock management tools, such as powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks.
  • Counting stock and keeping inventory records.
  • Performing routine cleaning duties.
  • Interfacing with management to ensure key objectives are realized.
  • Maintaining safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
