About The Position

Proof of the Pudding, a renowned culinary and event experience provider, is expanding into the greater Dallas area and seeking multiple Warehouse Associates. This role is crucial for maintaining kitchen efficiency by receiving, sorting, and organizing incoming orders, equipment, and products. The Warehouse Team collaborates with Chefs and the Operations Team to identify items, prepare kitchen distribution, verify inventories, and distribute products for event days. The company has a four-decade history of setting standards for culinary excellence and exceptional event experiences.

Requirements

Experience working in a warehouse is necessary.
Ability to pass a background and DOT certification test.
Must be available for a variety of shift times (nights and weekends are needed).

Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

Performs transfers of products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse.
Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise.
Responsible for operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Assist with pulling and packing equipment for events, unpacking and organizing equipment returned to warehouse.
Loading and unloading trucks, transferring equipment between outlets, and making deliveries or driving to events when needed.
Cleaning and organizing the warehouse, china room, and dish room.
Assists warehouse leads with equipment & inventory control.
Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures.
Responsible for both pre & post event set-up/break down responsibilities.
Ensures security of company assets.
Performs other related duties as required.
