About The Position

Crystal Clean (CC) is a leading company in the environmental waste services industry seeking motivated individuals to join their growing team. The Branch Warehouse Representative will be responsible for maintaining the branch warehouse and supporting the Company’s used oil program by performing used oil filter collection services at CC customer facilities. Daily responsibilities include loading and unloading trailers and vehicles, handling waste containers of varying weights and sizes using approved material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Service responsibilities involve collecting used oil filter containers from customer facilities and transporting them using a Commercial Motor Vehicle. This role may require the use of forklifts, powered pallet jacks, hand jacks, and dollies.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must have or be qualified to obtain and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Med Card with Airbrake and HAZMAT.
  • Motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets or exceeds CC’s published standards (seat belt and cell phone violations, excessive speeding, DUI, suspension, multiple vehicle collisions).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to details.
  • Ability to sell and upsell products.
  • Ability to interact with customers, sales branch employees, and other corporate departments.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as electronic mobile devices, computers, all truck equipment, etc.
  • Frequent lifting of materials that typically weigh 54-80lbs.
  • Frequent pushing/pulling of 16–55-gallon drums of waste/product using HCC-approved equipment for safe material handling (drum weight may exceed 400lbs).
  • Pass pre-employment physical including drug & alcohol screening.
  • Pass background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.

  • Forklift certificate preferred.
  • Tanker endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in and promote safe work behaviors consistent with CC safety guidelines.
  • Load and unload box trucks.
  • Organize, clean, and maintain warehouse and office.
  • Move trucks on company property.
  • Track inventory.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and standards (environmental, regulatory, human resources, facility, equipment, operations, maintenance).
  • Provide customer service and new business development in an assigned geographic area.
  • Align work orders to minimize mileage and travel time.
  • Inspect vehicle and equipment for safe operation.
  • Service and maintain all existing and new Oil Filter customers.
  • Pursue additional services with existing accounts.
  • Assess potential customer needs, present CC products and services, and develop new customers.
  • Develop sales leads for Data-Marketing.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
  • Achieve sales quotas for total revenue and new customer development.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
