About The Position

The Warehouse Associate 1 is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing items. This role operates in a warehouse environment and requires the ability to withstand climate changes. The position is not required to have supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-2 years' experience in a fast paced warehouse environment
  • Must be able to consistently lift/move products up to 100 lbs
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding climate changes

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Responsibilities

  • Support the inbound and outbound operation
  • Unload trailers by hand
  • Move furniture with dollies and pallet jacks
  • Ensure outbound picked furniture matches invoice before loading into contractor’s vehicle for delivery
  • Ensure that outbound furniture does not have any damages or flaws
  • Prepare customers’ orders
  • Monitors and ensures that outbound furniture is properly assembled
  • Use proper lifting techniques: lift, push, stooping twisting, bending
  • Use RF Scanners to scan labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination
  • Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Meet company standards for productivity
