About The Position
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the fulfillment and shipment of customer orders.
Requirements
- Follow safety regulations while operating equipment.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Must be able to successfully pass and maintain forklift certification.
- Operate power industrial equipment as needed.
Nice To Haves
- 3 to 6 months experience in a warehouse environment.
- Previous shipping/distribution and/or warehouse experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, and/or other material handling equipment as part of the distribution process within a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, equipment type, model, or part number.
- Efficiently moves and loads product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers.
- Assembles customer orders from stock, stages orders, and/or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department according to center purchase orders.
- Performs proper packing and prep of all outbound orders.
- Performs QA check for equipment readiness and accuracy.
