About The Position

E.A. Sween is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced team. This is a hands-on role for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and ready to work in an active warehouse environment. In this position, you will pick products accurately, place items correctly in totes, help unload trucks, organize product, and maintain a clean and safe work area. You will also help protect product quality by keeping temperature-controlled areas closed, checking inbound product temperatures, documenting out-of-spec items, and following food safety standards. This role may also include moving trucks in the yard, assisting with loading and unloading, starting and monitoring reefer units, and completing safety checks as needed. Team members are expected to handle products carefully, follow established processes, participate in required training, and support warehouse operations as directed by supervisors. This is a physical job that requires standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, and lifting throughout the shift. Candidates must be comfortable working in temperatures ranging from 35 to 75 degrees and in a fast-moving environment where accuracy, urgency, and teamwork matter.

Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Basic math skills
  • Able to read and speak basic English
  • Ability to meet required productivity standards
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Able to push/pull up to 250 lbs
  • Comfortable using a 2-4 wheel handcart
  • Able to work flexible hours, including days, weekends, and holidays
