Requirements

  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
  • Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance
  • May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
  • May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments
  • Assessing stock for damages
  • Keeping a concise record of inventory
  • Accurately filling customer orders
  • Picking of parts to fulfill orders
  • Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock
  • Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock
  • Scanning items into the warehouse management system
  • Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages
  • Organizing the warehouse space
  • Preparing orders for shipment
  • Picking orders for shipment
  • Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments
  • Operating stock management tools (e.g., powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks)
  • Counting stock and keeping inventory records
  • Routine cleaning duties
  • Interfacing with management to ensure key objectives are realized
  • Maintaining safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Securing and transferring cash or other assets
