About The Position

Taylor Metal is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in picking and packing, inventory management, and a solid understanding of warehouse operations. This role requires proficiency with computer systems, handheld scanners, and forklifts. The Warehouse Associate will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency of warehouse operations while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Shift: Dayshift, M-F (7:00am -3:30pm), OT as needed

Requirements

Proficiency with computer systems
Proficiency with handheld scanners
Proficiency with forklifts
High school degree or equivalent preferred
Basic math skills
Written communication skills
3-6 mos. manufacturing or warehouse exp. preferred
Forklift certification preferred (will certify in-house)
Must pass a background check and drug screening for safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

Accurately pick and pack orders in a timely manner.
Perform inventory management tasks, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and organization of warehouse stock.
Operate a handheld scanner to track and update inventory and orders.
Use forklifts to move and organize products within the warehouse.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, following all safety protocols.
Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and best practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
Collaborate with the team to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments.
