About The Position

Sandvik Machining Solutions in Hebron, KY is looking for a Warehouse Associate for their Mid Shift, working from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The starting pay is $19-20/hour, which includes a shift differential. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for processing customer orders for shipment, receiving inbound material from internal and external suppliers, and adhering to all established policies and procedures. You will be expected to perform in accordance with established targets and objectives, including productivity, quality, attendance, safety, and on-time shipping performance.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to be on your feet 6-8 hours/day.
Strong knowledge of WMS systems and ISO systems.
Understanding of all ADC warehouse processes, policies, and procedures.
Basic computer knowledge.
Team driven.
Result oriented.
Flexible work schedule.
Legally permitted to work and reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

Ensuring accuracy on all orders received by internal and external suppliers by verifying product code and quantity.
Operating RF units effectively.
Accurately counting and verifying items and quantities during cycle counting, which may be performed manually or through the automated WMS function using an RF device.
Accurately picking, packing, and processing internal and external customer orders using system-generated paperwork or the automated WMS function with an RF device.
Receiving and putting away product in correct bin locations.
Accurately performing Value Added Service (VAS) functions on customer orders, which may include applying customer-specified item numbers, labeling or packaging per customer requirements, supplying correct paperwork, and other required VAS functions.
Accurately reporting completed packages/shipments, separating packages by carrier and service, and ensuring orders are completed per ISO procedures and all Sandvik policies and procedures.
Reporting all found non-conformances.
