Warehouse Associate - 7AM-3:30PM M-F - Tempe, AZ
About The Position
As GCG continues to grow, we are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to add to our team in Tempe, AZ! In this role, your main responsibility will be cutting wire to customer orders, picking orders, shipping & receiving, and assisting with general warehouse duties as needed. If you are looking for a direct-hire position in a climate-controlled warehouse to gain hands on experience with an industry leader, then we may be just the right fit for you! Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri Pay Rate: $20+/hr (based on experience) + full benefits Location: 7333 South Hardy Drive Tempe AZ 85283
Requirements
- Warehouse experience a plus
- Basic math skills required
- High school diploma/GED required
- Attention to detail
- Experience using computers
- Reliable transportation is required as the site is not accessible by public transit
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
Responsibilities
- Pick inventory using sit down forklifts
- Pack, label, and ship out orders
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight
- Complete and manage shipping and receiving paperwork
- Assist with general inventory duties including cycle counts, relocating, and put-away
- Daily set up and operation of the following machines: spooling machine, rim drive machine, ink jet machine, and striping machine
- Perform additional warehouse duties as needed
