About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for picking, packing, and kitting timely to service our customers. They will support receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments. This is a seasonal position for the peak period from September to December 2026.

Requirements

• Ability to legally work 40+ hours per week with excellent attendance
• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of related work experience
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume and distance
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
• Ability to complete duties with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables

Nice To Haves

• Ability to complete Forklift certification as an asset
• CPR First Aid an asset

Responsibilities

• Pick and Pack orders scanning items as outlined on the BOL
• Support loading and unloads of products to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas
• Reads production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product code
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line
• Other duties as assigned
